Candidate of Record for Vancouver Centre
Why I Stepped Forward — and What I’m Working On Now
I’ve lived in the West End with my family for more than two decades. I know Vancouver Centre—its history, its challenges, and its potential. With the election behind us, my focus is unchanged: build a strong local economy, restore well-paid jobs in Vancouver Centre, attract and retain new businesses, and create an environment where existing businesses can thrive. That means predictable rules, faster permitting, safe streets, and competitive taxes—so entrepreneurs invest here, employers grow here, and families can build their future here.
Rising housing costs, public safety concerns, and a sluggish economy are making life harder for families, seniors, and young professionals. My goal is simple: ensure Vancouver Centre becomes a magnet for innovation, investment, and opportunity—without leaving anyone behind.
Professional & Non-Profit Leadership
I’ve held executive roles in both the private and non-profit sectors, including serving as CEO of Skills Canada BC, where I promoted careers in skilled trades and technology to youth. I’ve also led organizations supporting vulnerable populations on Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside, using education and technology to drive real change.
Entrepreneurship & Inbox Impact
I’m the Founder of Inbox Impact, a West Coast Communications Studio that helps mission-driven organizations thrive, with a special focus on supporting animal rescue agencies. My team builds high-impact newsletters, donor communications, and campaigns that raise funds and strengthen community support.
Innovation & Entrepreneurship
My time in Silicon Valley working with start-ups sharpened my passion for innovation, entrepreneurship, and building a strong, opportunity-rich economy here at home.
Standing Up for Public Safety
I served as a key witness for the Crown in the trial of serial killer Robert Pickton. That experience deepened my commitment to public safety and to policies that protect vulnerable people.
Education & Community
I hold a BA from Carleton University and an MBA from Kaplan University (now Purdue Global.) I’m an active community volunteer and a proud resident of Vancouver Centre’s West End.
